The Idea Behind Code
Kia ora, I’m Ashen Cabral.
I’m a Software Engineer, tech enthusiast, music lover, and the founder of ideaCode. My passion for technology started in childhood—always asking what, why, and how things work.
I studied IT infrastructure in Singapore, earning an International Diploma in Networking and Cyber Security. But my love for coding led me to software development. After refining my skills in Sri Lanka and Singapore, I moved to New Zealand to take my expertise to the next level.
Now, as a specialist in Microsoft technologies and web development, I craft innovative digital solutions that help businesses run seamlessly. Whether it’s SharePoint, Power Platform, or custom web applications, I thrive on solving problems and turning ideas into reality.
Beyond Work
When I’m not coding, you’ll find me spending time with family, vibing to hip-hop, following rugby and football, and always pushing my limits—both personally and professionally.
